Khloe Kardashian has broken her silence to thank family, friends and fans for their support for estranged husband Lamar Odom following his hospitalisation last week.
The 31-year old, who is still technically married to the former NBA star, said Lamar has made “incredible strides” as he recovers from his collapse last week, while the basketball player’s aunt has dubbed his progress “miraculous”.
The 35-year-old, was admitted to hospital last Tuesday after being found unconscious in a brothel in Nevada.
It is believed that Khloe, his former wife, children and members of the Kardashian family have stayed by his bedside during his week-long recovery.
While her sisters asked fans to pray for Lamar through their social media sites, Khloe remained silent until addressing the public today through her personal website.
In a letter posted to the site, the KUWTK star wrote:
‘The past week has been incredibly difficult. I am so thankful to family, friends and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar.
I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work. Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made. You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure.
Thank you for your continued support. God is great!!! XOXO, Khloé.’
Odom reportedly regained consciousness on Friday and has already been transported out of Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas to a facility in Los Angeles.
The pair previously filed for divorce in July this year.
