Just last week we brought you the story of Kesha reassuring fans about returning to the music world after her legal battle against alleged abuser and music producer Dr. Luke ends.

It seems now that she has claimed a small victory with authorities dismissing his existing lawsuits against her mother, Pebe Sebert and her manager, reports Business Insider.

He had claimed that her mother was trying to extort him and had forced the singer to break her contract, and argued that Kesha’s manager Jack Rovner was jealous of him and wanted to gain more control over her career.

However the most important case is yet to be heard, as Kesha’s contract with Dr. Luke is preventing her releasing new music or recording elsewhere. She will have another court date this month.

Since the lawsuits began Kesha’s career has come to a juddering halt, and she is now fighting to save her flagging career, arguing that Dr. Luke is causing her to fade from the public world.
