Kerry Katona has signed a deal with Orion Publishing Group and will release her new autobiography in October.
The reality television star will pen (or hire a ghostwriter) her second autobiography five years after the release of Too Much Too Young which sold over 250,000 copies.
The book is set to delve into Kerry’s drug addiction, bankruptcy, embezzlement, divorce, alcohol problems and bi polar disorder and the aim of the publication is to inspire those who are suffering from similar hardships.
“Writing this book is proving to be really tough as it covers the period when I was at my lowest ebb. It’s incredibly therapeutic though and I hope it will in some small way help inspire others who might be going through difficult times to keep fighting no matter what.
“But I’m making sure it’s not all tears – there are plenty of laughs too as, whatever the situation, I always make sure I find time to have some fun,” Kerry said.
Kerry has allowed many camera crews to document her family life in programmes such as MTV’s Kerry Katona: Crazy in Love and ITV’s Kerry Katona: The Next Chapter.
Katona won popular ITV programme I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2004, shortly before the collapse of her marriage to former Westlife star Brian McFadden. The former Atomic Kitten has four children, Mollie (10) and Lilly-Sue (9) with McFadden and Heidi (5) and Max (4) with ex husband Mark Croft.
Too Much Too Young: Kerry’s first autobiography was published in April 2007
