Rugby player Danny Cipriani was taken to hospital on Wednesday night after being hit by a double-decker bus.
Kelly Brook’s beau was out on a pub crawl with his rugby teammates in Leeds when he was struck by the bus while crossing the road.
Danny was enjoying a night out with friends when he was struck by the bus.
According to reports he was treated for concussion at the scene of the accident before being taken to hospital for further scans.
His manager James Williamson told The Sun newspaper: “Danny’s spending the night in hospital.”
The rugby player is dating Kelly Brook who was in London at the time of the accident.
He added: “X-rays and scans will be carried out overnight. He’s obviously in pain. He was running across the road and just misjudged the speed of the bus.”
Apparently friends and family tried to contact Kelly, who was in London filming an episode of Celebrity Juice, after it happened but were unable to.
UPDATE (8.11am on April 26th): Danny Cipriani is out of hospital with a few bumps and bruises according to reports this morning.
The rugby star, who was hit by a bus on Wednesday evening, also tweeted out to thank everyone for their support.
He wrote: “Thank you for all the well wishes, means a lot. My ribs are a bit sore. Feel like I’ve been hit by a bus… Out of hospital now. Once again, thank you for the messages.”
