Kelis’ husband Mike Mora passes away aged 37

Singer Kelis’ husband Mike Mora has died at the age of 37. Mike, a well-known photographer, previously revealed that he had been diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer in October 2021. Reps for the Milkshake singer confirmed the news in a brief statement shared with E! News: "Sadly, it’s true that Mike Mora has passed away. We would ask all to respect Kelis and her family’s privacy as of right now. Thank you." Tributes have been pouring in online from friends and fans. Actor Evan Ross was among the first to pay tribute to Mora, sharing an emotional Instagram post with a black and white photo of his late friend. "We lost a brother yesterday," he wrote. With no idea what was about to come my way... "You always see people post about how life is too short. How you should reach out to those you love no matter where life has taken you. It is the truth.
