She certainly loves to bend it like Beckham but it seems Keira Knightley isn’t so keen on the whole fame thing, which is kind of bizarre considering she is one of the most sought after actresses on the planet.

The 27 year old, who recently got engaged to Klaxons rocker James Righton, revealed that at the beginning of her film career she hated the fact that she had no life outside of acting.

“I literally had no life outside of acting, and I just wanted to go off and not be ‘on’ all the time, not be photographed…” she told Vogue magazine.

The Pride and Prejudice star also added: “I once went to the Glastonbury music festival and was completely surrounded by packs of paparazzi the entire time, so I ended up sitting in a trailer, unable to go out.”

And as sad as that sounds we’re pretty sure the incredible money, designer dresses and hot co-stars, including Johnny Depp, help!

Keira’s new film Anna Karenina, about an aristocrat who has an affair with a Count, is out now. Jude Law and Aaron Taylor-Johnson co-star.
