Well, it seems like Katy Perry has finally had enough of Russell Brand’s big mouth when it comes to their marriage and she has instructed her lawyers to make sure that the comedian no longer airs their dirty laundry in public.
The Daily Star reports that Katy is reportedly sick of Russell’s smart remarks about her and their failed marriage and she has demanded that her lawyers seek a gagging order against him. This means that Russell could face some serious legal trouble if he calls her an “arse-ache” again. Uh-oh…
Now, if you’re anything like us, chances are you’re probably wondering why Katy didn’t make this move sooner. Honestly, if one of our exes called us a pain in the backside, we’d definitely have our lawyers on their case, but anyway…
According to reports, Katy and Russell apparently agreed to keep a dignified silence about what went down during their 14-month marriage, although over the past few months Russell has become more and more outspoken about their relationship.
So now Katy has taken matters into her own hand and wants to make sure that their agreement is enforced by the law.
Katy and Russell back in the day, when she loved listening to him talk.
According to sources, the final straw came when Katy heard that Russell had made remarks about their sex life on a live radio interview with shock-jock DJ Howard Stern.
“Katy is fed up with Russell constantly making reference to their marriage in interviews. While it’s mainly harmless and often even complimentary, she’s sick to death of his comments being splashed all over the news a comments,” said a source.
“Katy went berserk after the interview with Howard Stern. She called lawyers and told them to put a gagging order on Russ to prevent him from speaking about her in public again. Katy vowed never to reveal the ins and outs of their marriage breakdown or speak about Russell in any way. All she wants is the same in return,” the source added.
What do you think ladies? Is Katy right to seek out a gagging order against Russell? Do you think that his comments have been out of line?
