They only broke up last month but already there are rumours that Katy Perry and John Mayer (a.k.a. the king of the love rats) could be getting back together.
Apparently the singers have had a heart-to-heart with insiders saying he is willing to do anything to win her back.
The couple were together for seven months before they split.
A source told Now magazine: “He inundated her with texts and calls for a week, so she agreed to hear him out.
“John invited Katy on tour with him and offered to write songs for her next album. And he said he’d commit.”
John is said to be eager to win Katy back.
But it might not be as easy as just writing a few tunes as Katy’s former flame Robert Ackroyd is believed to be back on the scene and that’s just the half of it as it was also reported she confided in her ex-hubby Russell Brand post-split.
Because we don’t normally believe in commenting on the relationships of others we won’t, but we reckon it’s about time John Mayer learned that he can’t have his cake and eat it!
