Katie Holmes has ‘split’ from Jamie Foxx after five years together

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are said to have split on their relationship after five years together. The pair, who are thought to have been dating since 2013, confirmed their relationship in September last year. However, the Dawson's Creek actress is said to have ended things between them amid reports that Foxx had not slowed down his partying or flirting with other women. According to Daily Mail, a source told Radar Online:

“Katie just couldn’t get over her trust issues. "It rubbed Katie the wrong way. It was hard for her not to feel jealous and worry about cheating, especially since Jamie’s a major flirt."

However, the publication reports that their split involved no bad blood between them - "no drama, no screaming fits or anger" - with the source adding:

"[There was] just sadness when Katie called up Jamie to tell him she couldn’t do this anymore. "He heard her out and said he was sorry."

The pair had always insisted they were simply good friends following Holmes' 2012 divorce from Tom Cruise. However, they finally went public with their relationship in 2017 when they were photographed hand-in-hand and walking along a beach. There is said to have been a clause in Holmes' divorce papers from Cruise that said she could not date for five years.
