Classical singer Katherine Jenkins has denied having an affair with footballer David Beckham via Twitter.
The singer posted a series of Tweets earlier today deeming the rumours ‘hurtful’ and ‘untrue.’
She also mentioned the fact that she has consulted her lawyer about the issue and has only met David, husband to Victoria Beckham, on two occasions as part of a group.

Rumours have been swirling around on the social media website for the last 24 hours suggesting that a super-injunction has stopped news of the affair being leaked.

UPDATE: According to recent reports, David Beckham’s rep has also denied the rumours stating: ‘Unfortunately, we have to deal with this type of nonsense on Twitter. One minute David is dead then a more scurrilous rumour, there is not one jot of truth to any of it.’
