Kate is throwing Meghan a second baby shower – here’s what we know so far

Yeah, us too. Over the past few months rumours of a spat between the Duchesses, fuelled by leaks from royal insiders and palace sources, have been unavoidable. Whether or not they're actually true, it looks like Kate is going out of her way to make a fuss of Meghan as she prepares to have her first child. Kate is throwing her sister-in-law a baby shower in the UK later this month, according to a new report. With Meghan's due date nearing, this celebration looks set to be a more low-key affair than her lavish celebrity bash in New York City last week. A royal source told UsWeekly that guests will include the Duchess's friends in England who didn't make it to the party stateside. "There is still going to be some sort of private baby-centric event for Meghan’s UK people, and Kate will host... "Her glam people and other relatives will be there. "Not sure if it’s a total baby ‘shower,’ but you could probably call it that." Kate's celebration is certain to be a classy affair but it has a big act to follow. Meghan's American shower took place at the penthouse of The Mark, one of New York's swankiest hotels, and  is believed to have cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. Host Serena Williams had organised a flower arranging class for Meghan and her pals and even got Michelin starred chef Jean Georges to cook for everyone.
