We’re sure the duchess would only ever sip daintily on a glass or two of champers and we doubt she’s ever downed rounds of shots at the bar but apparently Kate’s pregnancy craving has become the latest hangover cure.
Royal sources have revealed that the mum-to-be has been curbing her morning sickness the old-fashioned way by nibbling on lavender shortbread biscuits. Lavender has long been used to relieve nausea and Kate has apparently developed a real taste for the ladylike treats and is getting hers from London food emporium Fortnum and Mason.

“A lot of women develop cravings during pregnancy and Kate is no exception,” a source tells The Sun. “She has got a real taste for these biscuits. Lavender is said to have healing properties, so it is not such a wacky food to nibble on when you’re pregnant.”
We’re not pregnant and we’re on a major New Years detox but we can’t help but wonder if Kate has stumbled onto a genius new way to cure nasty hangover symptoms and if we should give it a go ourselves… all in the name of research of course.
