Kate Middleton and Prince William just made a MASSIVE change to their London home.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are believed to have made some home improvements in a bid to seek more privacy for their family. According to reports, Kate Middleton and Prince William organised for new hedges to be built and more trees to be planted outside Kensington Palace, stopping people from looking into their home. They often travel to and from their residence via helicopter and in previous instances, members of the public have spotted them leaving. According to The Express, this new feature measures 900ft in length and the trees have cost an estimated €15,000, a hefty amount we think you'll agree. However, the hedges will now prevent passers-by from being able to see into the area, known as Perks Field. It's thought that 600 trees have been built and over time, they will grow to a height that will prevent people from seeing into the palace and surrounding areas. Interestingly, this isn't the first time that trees have been planted with the view to increase privacy for the inhabitants of the palace. Before Kate Middleton and Prince William moved in, a wall of trees, measuring 250ft in height, was built along the building's boundaries but it seems, they now need more protection. They are parents to three young children, aged under five, and it's understandable that they might want to keep their family life out of the public eye so that their kids can grow up out of the limelight.
