Buckingham Palace has remained tight-lipped and refused to comment on fresh claims that Prince William and Kate Middleton are expecting their second child.
Jessica Hay, a former friend of Kate, has reportedly told Australian magazine New Day that the Duchess’ “inner circle are buzzing” with the news.
This isn’t the first time that Hay has broken royal baby news to the media.
Several sources have strengthened Hay’s reports by highlighting that she confirmed Kate’s first pregnancy in 2012, several weeks before it was officially announced.
Hay has said that Kate is already putting on weight and making efforts to disguise her figure, adding that an official announcement could be just weeks away.
However, others have been keen to point out that Kate and Hay are no longer friends and have not spoken for many years.
According to The Mirror, Buckingham Palace officials refused to comment on the speculation.
Prince George will celebrate his first birthday on July 22nd.
