Kate Middleton dropped into the National Portrait Gallery in London today to have a look at the exhibition which documents London’s preparation for the biggest sporting event of the year.
The exhibition called ‘Road to 2012’ is a three year project that captures the preparation for the Olympic Games from many perspectives. It includes both athletes and organizers.
The Duchess of Cambridge looked stunning as always in an eye-catching blue Stella McCartney dress. She combined it with an Olympic ring style necklace.
Kate Middleton was escorted around the exhibition by the Director of the Gallery.
Kate was accompanied around the exhibition by the Director of the National Portrait Gallery Sandy Nairne.
Kate is a patron for the National Portrait Gallery as well as an ambassador for Team GB and from the look on her face today, it was clear to see her enthusiasm for the event that kicks off in just over a week.
