Liam Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy reveals they planned to get married

Kate Cassidy shared an emotional statement on Instagram

The 31-year-old singer tragically passed away after falling from the balcony of a third-floor hotel room on October 16th.

The singer had been dating the American influencer since 2022.

Payne's tragic death has left his partner completely heartbroken and now mourning the future they were meant to have.

Kate said her heart is "shattered in ways I can't put into words" following Liam's heartbreaking passing.

"You are - because I can't say were - my best friend, the love of my life, and everyone you touched felt just as special as I did.

Cassidy said she couldn't get her head around "the new reality of not having you here".

"It feels like I've lost the best part of myself. I can't imagine a day without your laughter and love," she continued.

Speaking about their future plans, Kate revealed that he was going to propose to her.

"A few weeks ago, we sat outside on a beautiful evening manifesting our lives together.

Payne wrote Kate a note about their future plans weeks before he passed away.

"It said, “Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged and together forever 444”.

"Liam, I know we’ll be together forever, but not in the way we had planned. You’ll always be with me. I’ve gained a guardian angel," she added.

She vowed to love Payne for the rest of her life.

"Carrying my dreams and memories with me everywhere I go," she added.
