Kady McDermott coined for epic Love Island return after seven years

Former Love Island star Kady McDermott is reportedly making a second appearance on the show as this year's ultimate bombshell.

Kady first appeared on the show seven years ago and is now rumoured to be returning once again, similar to how Adam Collard came back a second time last year. Kady appeared on the 2016 series of the show and finished in third place alongside now ex-boyfriend Scott Thomas. A source told MailOnline: “Kady was a fantastic Islander in 2016. She made brilliant television and bosses are hoping she can recreate the same magic in the villa this summer. “She’s also still looking for love so for Kady the hope is that she can finally find the man of her dreams. The news of Kady's return comes as she split from on-off boyfriend Myles Barnett for good in 2021, as well as ending a brief romance with Aston Villa footballer Matty Cash last year. This isn't the first time Kady has hinted that she would like to return to the villa. Back in 2018 during season four, she revealed to MailOnline that she wanted to go onto the show again as she thought Dr. Alex was her perfect match. “I’m SO single and I hate it, I really want a boyfriend,” she told MailOnline. “I want to go back into Love Island. I would 100 percent go back in and I want Alex because he’s really nice. “I’m so sick of mean boys and I want a nice boy. I feel like I’m the one for Alex, I want a nice boy and he wants a nice girl. "I’m so over all the typical Adams in the world.”
