Just LOOK at the ring that James McVey gave his fiancé Kirstie

It's a sparkler.

Yesterday, James McVey announced that he is engaged to his longtime girlfriend Kirstie Brittain. The pair did a cover shoot with Hello! Magazine and in behind-the-scenes footage, you can see a close up of the sparkler James proposed to her with. In an exclusive interview with Hello!, James reveals how he had a bit of a helping hand from his I'm a Celeb BFF, Harry Redknapp:

"Harry said he knew a really good jeweller whenever I was ready to do it and I thought, I may as well just do it."

The football manager, (himself a bit of a hopeless romantic!) accompanied James to a jeweller in Bournemouth and it was a pretty easy process:

"By the time Harry arrived I had already chosen the ring; as soon as I saw it I knew it was the one. And Harry loved it too."
