Josh Duhamel has announced his engagement to model girlfriend Audra Mari in the most romantic way, and we were just as surprised as anyone to see who was first to congratulate the actor.
The 49 year old got down on one knee on the beach with a message in a bottle revealing the big question on Audra’s 28th birthday.
Black Eyed Peas singer and Josh’s ex wife of eight years was the first to send her congratulations to the newly engaged couple.
Posting a snap on Instagram of the pair on a sunny beach, they held up a note that read: Audra Mari will you marry me?”
He captioned the post: “It’s on!! She found a message in a bottle that washed ashore and said YES!! @audramari.”
While there was an abundance of famous faces rushing to congratulate the actor, Fergie was among them simply saying “Congrats!!!” with a few heart emojis following.

Duhamel and Fergie announced their separation in 2017 and are parents to eight-year-old son Axl.
Other actors like Matt Lanter and Ryan Rottman also commented “Congrats my man!” and “Yesssssssssss. Congratulations” with a ring emoji.
Josh Duhamel is best known for his role as Captain William Lennox in the Transformers series and also featured in the 2010 romcom When In Rome as well as 2011’s New Year’s Eve and recently in the Netflix superhero series Jupiter’s Legacy.
His new fiancee Audra was crowned Miss World America in 2016 and later represented America at the Miss World competition. The couple has been dating since 2019.
