Joe Jonas filed for divorce today.

Joe Jonas has officially filed for divorce from actress Sophie Turner after four years of marriage. The singer reportedly filed for divorce on Tuesday, September 5th. According to E! News, the Burning Up singer stated that the "marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken". Jonas also requested "shared parental responsibility" as well as a "parenting plan" for both of their daughters. The couple share two children, a 3-year-old daughter Willa, and a 13-month-old daughter who was listed as D.J. in the court documents. The news comes after days of conflicting rumours about the pair's relationship. TMZ originally reported the couple's break-up with the publication claiming Joe and Sophie had been having trouble in their marriage for the past six months. The source also said the couple have been experiencing "serious issues" in their marriage. They also said Joe has been caring for their daughters "pretty much all of the time". The couple, who met on Instagram, first started dating in 2016. The Leave Before You Love Me singer then popped the question in 2017. Joe and Sophie tied the knot in Las Vegas in 2019. The couple shares two daughters.
