Joe Jonas addresses divorce from Sophie Turner at Jonas Brothers concert

Joe Jonas has spoken out about his divorce from Sophie Turner at a recent Jonas Brothers concert.

The Summer Baby singer urged his fans not to believe anything about their relationship unless it comes directly from him. Speaking at their Los Angeles show, Joe addressed the crowd. He said: "If you don’t hear it from these lips, don’t believe it ok?"

The singer praised his fans for supporting him during this tough time. "Thank you everyone for the love and support. Me and my family love you guys," he added. Joe and Sophie confirmed they were divorcing in a joint statement this week. They "mutually agreed" to end their relationship and have asked the public to respect them during this heartbreaking time. "After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage." "There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children." Joe and Sophie have two daughters, three-year-old Willa and a one-year-old daughter, whose name hasn't been disclosed. Jonas filed for divorce on September 5th and requested joint custody. They first started dating in 2016 and then tied the knot in a Las Vegas wedding in 2019.
