Joanne McNally reveals boyfriend crashed her car into Enniskerry café

"Prada Peter" found out Poppies wasn't a drive-thru the hard way.

Irish comedian Joanne McNally took to Instagram stories to reveal her rather "spicy" beginning to 2023. While the Killiney native first discussed a recent bout of the vomiting bug, her year was set to get worse, with her boyfriend Alan Byrne (known as Prada Peter to "My Therapist Ghosted Me" listeners) crashing her car into Enniskerry café Poppies.

“This morning Alan drove my car into the local coffee shop. My car – not his. He left the handbrake off. He said he did it by accident, we’ll never know."

When people got upset at the thought of her posting a video in which someone may have gotten hurt, Joanne clapped back in classic fashion.

"No, nobody was hurt. People are asking me if anyone (was) hurt. Nobody was hurt, thank god. Imagine he'd run someone over and I was just posting a video online for the craic? I’m not that insane. Nobody’s hurt, thank god. Nobody was hurt." 

Poppies also posted this video of the incident. Somehow we don't think "Prada Peter" is going to live this down anytime soon. I'm personally looking forward to the roasting session that's surely imminent on Joanne and Vogue's podcast. All this and it's not even the middle of January yet.
