She got very upset.
Former Little Mix member, Jesy Nelson has hit back at the coverage of her recent comments about the girl band.
In a recent interview, Jesy revealed that she hasn’t spoken to the Little Mix girls since she left the band two years ago.
She told The Sun that she never regrets leaving the band “because I had to do what was right for me and I will always cherish the memories I had in Little Mix.
“So no, we haven’t talked since then. Never say never, but I honestly wish them the best on their solo journeys now, which is so exciting.
“I am rooting for all of them. I honestly do wish them all the success as they are all crazy talented.”
However, Jesy wasn’t happy with the media coverage her comments received.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Jesy said she doesn’t usually “add fuel to the fire” but when she woke up she felt she had to clarify some things.
The singer said she understands peoples curiosity about her situation with the Little Mix girls considering she was a member of the band for ten years.
However, the star seemed furious about “on-going feud” rumours and felt it necessary to label them “bulls**t”.
She said: “I feel like women just get pitted up against each other 24/7 in the music industry and I hate it.
“I think it’s disgusting. It’s frustrating when you’re going in there to talk about something that’s close to your heart but it’s all taken out of context.”
The artist became very emotional and explained that she creates a video that means a lot to her and she just wanted to raise awareness about domestic violence.
She said: “I don’t think it’s something that’s spoken about enough and that’s what the interview was supposed to be about.”
Clearly very frustrated, Jesy said: “We got told that [the music news] didn’t get enough clicks so we wanted to make it about the girls.”
She closed off her chat by saying she wanted to “speak her truth” on the topic because it’s “really upset” her.
