Jennifer Lopez confirms she is engaged to Ben Affleck with a glimpse of the ring

Second time's the charm.

Giving us all a little bit of Deja Vu, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have us feeling like it's 2000 again as they have announced they are engaged for the second time. With an extra special ring this time around, the singer announced the happy news in her On The JLo newsletter on Friday, and gave fans a glimpse at her new engagement ring. Featuring a light green stone, it is a subtle nod to something he clearly remembered her saying in an earlier edition of the newsletter. JLo said: "I always say green is my lucky colour." "Maybe you can remember a certain green dress,' she added, referring to her iconic green Versace dress from the 2000 Grammy Awards. She continued: "I've realised there are many moments in my life when amazing things happened when I was wearing green. "Whenever I am in a moment of doubt and confusion, one will magically appear by my window, reminding me that the universe will always speak to us if we are open to the signs." It was Jennifer's sister Lynda who shared the picture of her engagement ring, posting a snap to her Instagram story of a very emotional JLo. The couple first began dating in 2002 and were engaged by November that year but Ben called things off in January 2004. They reunited last year and have been inseparable since. Jennifer was spotted wearing quite the stunning diamond ring on her engagement finger this week. The mum of two was out furniture shopping when the paparazzi snapped her wearing the beautiful diamond. When she noticed that there were paparazzi around, the Marry Me actress turned the ring around and hid the diamond. In an interview with People, the On The Floor singer said she feels grateful they got a second chance. "I feel so lucky and happy and proud to be with him. It’s a beautiful love story that we got a second chance." "We’re older now, we’re smarter, we have more experience, we’re at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things." "We’re so protective because it is such a beautiful time for all of us."
