Jenna Marbles’ house was broken into following months of harassment

Sarah McKenna Barry

“Jenna, the dogs and myself are all safe.”

The house of YouTubers Jenna Marbles and Julien Solomita was broken into by a woman who had been allegedly harassing them for months.

Julien issued a statement on Instagram outlining the incident, and explained that he was able to “subdue” her by using pepper spray.

He wrote: “Today someone broke into our house. a woman, that we didn’t know, entered our home unannounced. upon her entering our back door, I immediately subdued her with OC/pepper spray and was able to lock her out. I called the police and she was apprehended and arrested.

“Jenna, the dogs and myself are all safe. while this person is a complete stranger to me, they have been harassing me at my home throughout the last two months. this was something that for safety reasons I was doing my best to keep offline but we were notified that a media outlet had information on today’s event and are planning on running a story so I wanted you to hear what happened from me first.”

Jenna was a hugely popular YouTuber a number of years ago, but she announced that she would no longer be making videos in 2020. Since then, she has not been active on any of her social media platforms. Julien, who continues to make content, has been providing fans with some updates on Jenna since she left YouTube.

Last month, Julien shared the news that they got married. He posted a series of photos from their wedding day, which saw them be joined by their dogs, who also featured prominently on Jenna’s YouTube channel.

Julien revealed that they were engaged during a Twitch stream in 2021.

He told fans: “A little while ago—this is so weird—I asked Jenna to marry me and she said yes. So, we are engaged.”
