Jason Derulo has revealed how he dumped Jordin Sparks, and it wasn’t the most gentlemanly way to end a three year relationship.
The ‘Wiggle’ singer decided to call time on their three year relationship, and admitted that due to touring he didn’t have the conversation in person:
“Nah, it was … it was, like, over the phone. … I wasn’t in town.”
In an interview with New York’s Power 105.1, Derulo shared that they had hit a rough patch in their relationship, saying that having “more downs than ups” was the reason behind the dumping.
Since the split, Jason has been linked to a number of women, and has been forced to deny cheating allegations, saying that just because he’s pictured with women it doesn’t mean he’s sleeping with them:
“Every relationship has their ups and downs and you know, when you start having more downs than ups, you gotta take a look at your relationship and be like, ‘Is this something that I’m supposed to be doing?”
The pair, who were known for their very public displays of affection, split after a three year relationship. They were last spotted attending the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards together late last month.
