The actress and pop star have had many public feuds over the years and have often aired their arguments in the public eye.
Speaking about their uncomfortable relationship, Jamie Lynn said a lot of it has to do with their upbringing.
She said both she and Britney had quite a "complicated upbringing" and this caused a lot of trouble in both their personal lives.
Jamie Lynn said all she has ever wanted was to be Britney's sister and nothing more.
She told her fellow campmates: "We’ve had very complicated circumstances and we both had to deal with them in different ways."
The singer also claimed she has never ever taken anything from Britney.
"I’ve never, ever… I’ve been the one person in her life – and she can say this – I’ve never taken anything from her, you know?"
Jamie Lynn added: "I’ve been the one person in her life who’s always said, ‘I just want to be your sister.’"
Jamie Lynn and Britney are reportedly on speaking terms after years of public spats.
Shortly after arriving in Australia, Jamie Lynn confirmed she spoke to her sister before signing up for the show.
She also said there's no doubt Britney is watching to make sure that her sister is okay.
The sisters may have been feuding for years, but it looks like things are getting better for both of them.
