Jamie Heaslip and wife Sheena have welcomed their first child

Jamie and Sheena Heaslip have welcomed their first child together.

The pair first announced that they were going to become parents last year, saying that it was an "exciting time" for them. The Irish rugby player announced this afternoon that Sheena had given birth to a daughter. The couple have named their baby Harper. Jamie and Sheena married back in August 2016 after being together for six years. The sports star marked the couple’s one-year anniversary on Instagram last August with some never-before-seen pictures from the big day, saying: “How time flies when you’re having fun.
