James Sutton Allegedly Hit Out at Stephanie Davis Following Her Axing

James Sutton allegedly threw (serious) shade at Stephanie Davis following the news of her departure. After it was revealed that Hollyoaks bosses had axed the actress, James posted a picture of the witch from The Wizard of Oz (as in Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead). The 32-year-old, who plays John Paul McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, also reportedly wrote: “All out of sympathy… Nine lives don’t last.” While it is not clear who exactly the tweets (which were both deleted later) were directed at, many believe he was taking aim at his now-former co-star. The pair with some other co-stars on This Morning (image:ITV). Of course it has since emerged that Stephanie’s contract was terminated after numerous warnings regarding her behaviour. Her representative said in a statement: “Stephanie’s contract was terminated following warnings for lateness, attendance and after a final incident in which she turned up to set unfit to work because of alcohol consumption.”
