Yes, you read that right, Love Island have allegedly confirmed that Gail Platt will enter the villa.
On Monday, ITV announced the ten singletons heading into the Love Island villa including Irish gal, Catherine Agbaje.
After their details were announced and every reality TV fan in the country calmed down, one fan joked that Coronation Street’s Gail Platt will also appear on our screens.
Gail is one of the most iconic soap characters who is played by actress Helen Worth.
ITV loved this and didn’t deny it which sent fans into a frenzy once again.
Twitter user Just Random Thoughts tweeted: “BREAKING: Gail Platt set to enter the Love Island Villa in under 2 weeks time. With 6 marriages and 4 dead husbands under her belt, she’s truly hopefully she can finally find ‘the one’.”

Corrie fans are ecstatic about the news but unfortunately, we doubt she’ll be in looking for love in the Love Island villa any time soon.
