And Michelle Obama is using this perk of the job to her own advantage. She has invited two of her favourite ladies to sing at her 50th birthday party, Adele and Beyonce.
According to reports, Michelle wants Adele to play at her 50th Birthday party along with Michelle’s good friend Beyonce Knowles.
“America’s First Lady will be holding a huge celebrity-packed party for her birthday at the White House next year and, as she adores Adele and Beyoncé, she has asked them both to sing,” a source told The Mail On Sunday.
The two singers will sing at Michelle Obama’s private 50th birthday bash.
Not only will Adele travel to the White House to sing for Barack and co, but she also said she’s going to do it for free.
“Adele has graciously accepted and waived her usual fee for the high-profile private performance. She will sing a selection of her most-loved hits for the First Lady and her friends,” the source adds.
