It’s Baby-Time! Giuliana Rancic’s Surrogate Gives Birth To Baby Duke

The time has come! Grab the overnight bag! The baby is coming!

But it was a very different experience for American TV presenter and expecting mother Giuliana Rancic and her husband Bill… it was, in fact, their surrogate mother that gave birth to their son, Edward Duke Rancic, just a few hours ago.

Edward is the star couple's first son and it is safe to say they have overcome many an obstacle to get to this point in their lives.

Giuliana, the face of E! News, struggled to fall pregnant for years and was then diagnosed with breast cancer. The pair decided to enlist a surrogate to help them become parents, and announced the difficult decision to the world.

Bill announced their new arrival will soon make an appearance to the world via Twitter late last night.

"It's Game Time.....,” he wrote.

After Baby Edward's arrival, the proud father wrote;

 

Giuliana also posted a message on the social networking site, where she promised to keep her followers updated on proceedings.

"U all will be 1st to know," she wrote.

The happy couple were both present at the labour in Denver. The couple travelled to Colorado a week ago, taking some time out for a ‘babymoon’ before their son made an appearance.

It was reported that the brave Giuliana planned to deliver their child to the world.

The pair are planning to spend time with the new-born at their Chicago home, before taking him to their Los Angeles base in October.
