Courteney Cox and David Arquette separated in 2010, but due to the fact that the pair did not issue divorce papers initially, many had hope that they would get back together.
However, the couple filed for divorce in June 2012 after two and a half years of separation.
Cox and Arquette met on the set of Wes Craven’s Scream and married in 1999. They are also parents to eight-year-old daughter Coco.
According to TMZ, the L.A. County Superior Court judge entered a final judgement for the divorce on Tuesday May 28th. Both Cox and Arquette requested joint legal and physical custody of Coco.
After their separation, the former couple confirmed that they would remain friends and work together to raise their daughter.
