Prince Harry has revealed that he is very excited about the prospect of being an uncle to the Royal Baby.
The 28-year-old spoke about the news that his brother and sister-in-law, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are expecting their first child this summer.
“I’m thrilled for both of them. It’s about time. I can’t wait to be an uncle,” he told reporters.
Prince Harry is said to be busy with his army duties at the moment.
However Harry did take offence to the pair having to announce it early and said that he hopes Kate will get the respect she deserves during her pregnancy.
“I think it was very unfair that they were forced to publicize it when they weren’t ready, but that’s just the media for you.
“I literally am very very happy for them, but I hope she and him, mainly Catherine, hopefully gets the necessary protection to allow her as a mother, to be able to enjoy the privacy.”
The close-knit Royals at the Olympic Games last summer.
Harry also addressed the Las Vegas nude photo scandal, which dominated the headlines in August, during the interviews: “I probably let myself down. I let my family down, I let other people down.”
Well Harry we can honestly say that you didn’t let us down and we reckon you’ll be a great, albeit slightly wild, uncle!
