Elisabetta, who chose a white lacy gown for her big day, married orthopedic surgeon Brian at the Sassari Cathedral in Sardinia.
Thirty-six-year-old Elisabatta,a native Sassari, tweeted a thank you in Italian to the people of the town, writing “Thanks for making this dream possible. Thanks to all the people for the affection you have shown me!”
