But it turns out that the boxer is actually earning significantly more than the £250,000 first estimated. Khan, who bottled the first Bushtucker Trial of the series earlier this week, is actually going to become the best-paid contestant in the history of the show, according to the Sun. The 30-year-old is reportedly set to eclipse Katie Price and take home a fee in the region of £400,000 for his time in the jungle. "Amir was a great get, but he came at a hefty cost. He’s going to be the best-paid celeb they’ve ever had," a source told the newspaper.
