He had 12 kids in Cheaper By the Dozen but Steve Martin has only just welcomed his first child in real life.
The 67-year-old star and his wife, Anne Stringfield (41), are said to have had a baby in December and have been spotted with a child near their home in Los Angeles in recent weeks.
Steve Martin has become a father for the first time according to reports.
However neither the Father of the Bride actor nor his representatives have confirmed or commented on the new arrival as yet.
An insider told the New York Post: “They’ve had a baby, and how they kept it a secret nobody knows. Steve’s very private. They are thrilled. They worked hard to have the baby.”
The actor with his wife managed to keep the news a secret.
The fact that Steve and Anne have kept it quiet will come as no surprise to those who know the couple.
Back in 2007 when they tied the knot, guests thought they were just attending a party but it was actually their wedding!
