Famed Irish singer Declan O’Rourke will tie the knot today with his long-term love Eimear O’Grady.
The 39-year-old Dubliner shot to fame with his debut album Since Kybram in 2004, a release which spawned Birds of a Feather and the stunning Galileo (Someone Like You).
In 2007 he released follow-up Big Bad Beautiful World and his third album Mag Pai Zai followed in 2011.
Speaking to The Independent about his finacé earlier this year, the singer songwriter said: “I live with my fiancé, Eimear. She’s a stuntwoman. She was in The Tudors and Penny Dreadful. She gets set on fire a lot and knocked over by cars, and she jumps off cliffs. She gets little knocks here and there, but the real skill is to do these things without being hurt.”
In a separate interview with the same paper earlier this year Eimear, 35, said: “The night before a stunt, I tell Declan that I will be working the next day, but I don’t really go into detail. He hears about it afterwards. When I showed him the car knockdown scene a year later, he got such a fright. My mother is very encouraging; she says, ‘You get in there, and go for it.’ But my father will send me a text message saying, ‘I see you got knocked down’ with a sad face.”

The couple live in Galway together. While details of the wedding have been kept largely under wraps, many of Declan’s fans are taking to his official Facebook page today to leave well wishes for the happy couple.
