Irish model and Tipperary girl Roz Purcell posted this photo of herself online yesterday and hit back at critics who called her “too skinny”.
“I’m fit and healthy,” she said, slamming those who called her too thin after she posted the lingerie snap.
Roz, 22, told the Irish Sun: “I eat healthily, every three hours, sometimes two, and I don’t deprive myself of treats.
“I do work out, I’m athletic looking and that’s the way I want to be.”
Yesterday fans were divided on her thin look and more than 150 people had “liked” the Instagram image by lunchtime.
One person wrote “way too skinny”, another wrote: “There’s a difference between skinny and in shape! Roz your body is what I call inspirational.
“I want to be toned just like that. Perfection, keep up the good work.”
One person wrote: “Some people’s comments are just ridiculous.
“Roz is a model, it’s her job to be thin but in a healthy way by eating right and exercising daily.
“You can’t criticise people for working hard.”
“It’s not unhealthy, if someone watched me during a day of my exercise routine and meals, it’s so balanced and I eat huge portions,” Roz said.
On Celebrity Bainisteoir last year, Roz said she ate more than most of the men on her Longford team.
She said: “I am kind of really like a big lad. I eat more food than them and go out training with them.”
