Elaine was axed by Virgin Media last year, with the presenter now taking over hosting duties on the weekend edition of Ireland AM alongside Simon Delaney.
Presenting the show on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays since September, it was then that Virgin Media dropped her daily afternoon panel show.
While she was sad to have the show scrapped, Elaine admitted that the timing was right and she just didn't have the same passion for presenting it as she did at the start.
Explaining that her heart just wasn't in it anymore, she was "kind of burnt out from it" and knew it was time to do something different.
The show ultimately ended as Covid restrictions came into play and the show needed to adapt around them, which Elaine says she felt didn't give it the same experience for viewers.
