Wedding bells were ringing for former “Off The Rails” presenter Caroline Morahan as she married her fiancé in style at the weekend.
The former television presenter followed the destination wedding trend and wed her banker husband Daithí O’Caoimh in Tuscany, Italy.
She choose a bridal gown designed by award-winning Irish bridal designer Kathy de Stafford to walk up the aisle at the Santa Maria di Provenzano church in medieval Siena.
The dress was a silk creation, made with 35 metres of Italian deluxe silk zibeline. It took the designer and her assistants eight months to create. Phew!
Lucky for her, Caroline, 35, had four bridesmaids to help her on the day. Each bridesmaid wore a different style gown in the same lilac silk chiffon from bridal specialists the White Room in Mullingar, Westmeath. A bride who takes into account her bridesmaids body shapes and favourite dress-cuts, we love!
Groom Daithí O’Caoimh wore a bespoke, unusual powder-blue suit by tailor Louis Copeland.

The three-day wedding party began with a dinner in the small Tuscan town of Monteriggioni for the 110 guests.
Caroline and Daithí sat back in shock to the guests’ delight as 20 of the wedding party surprised the happy couple with a flash mob dance routine after the meal.
Caroline said of her future husband; “In a way, it’s felt like we’ve been married for a while now. Daithi has been the primary factor in my choices for years, we’ve been a solid unit.
“Neither of us knew what would happen uprooting and going to LA, but it proved to be a wonderful move.”
Daithí’s powder-blue Louis Copeland suit was a fashion statement in itself.
Congratulations to the wonderful couple!
Mr O’Caoimh went down on one knee to propose last year in California’s scenic Yosemite National Park.
“I absolutely bawled crying. It was such a surreal event. When I realised what was happening I got very emotional. I will never, ever forget that moment.”
The couple have been dating for over four years and Daithí recently quit his finance job in Dublin to join Caroline in LA where she moved to pursue an acting career.
Might we be seeing our former television fashion advisor on the big screen soon?
