Kelly Osbourne looks absolutely fantastic these days, however the Fashion Police panellist has opened up about her body issues and admitted that she will never see herself as a skinny person in her own mind.
In a recent interview for UK talk show This Morning, Kelly speaks openly about her insecurity to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, describing herself as an “FFP” – a “former fat person.”
“When you see yourself in a certain way, that never changes,” said Kelly.
“People who are larger and then they lose weight, you will always look in the mirror and see yourself as that fat girl, no matter what happens,” she added.
Kelly also added that every day people come up to her on the street and stop her to tell her she’s “much skinnier and prettier in real life.”
“I’m like, oh thank you, what a compliment. Have a nice day,” she said, explaining how she deals with the backhanded compliments.
And while Kelly has really earned her fashion stripes in the past year or so, she added that she doesn’t feel like she belongs in the United States because she “doesn’t want to be the prettiest girl in the room.”
Kelly and her brother Jack, who was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
Kelly revealed that she is also pretty “shocked” by how good a dad her brother Jack turned out to be.
“Jack is a lesson and his baby is the miracle – we call her Pearl The Miracle. Jack is amazing right now. I don’t understand how he is the way he is – I wish I could be more like him. He has a military mind – ‘Right, I’ve got to change the way I eat, changing what I do,’ he is very strong and he’s the best father ever,” Kelly said.
“It shocks me! And his future wife Lisa is the best mum and they are just so happy…I couldn’t be more happy for them,” she added.
