Huge congrats! Love Island’s Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen have gotten married

The first Love Island wedding has taken place.

Love Island 2016's Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen have gotten married. Some of their fellow Islanders - including Tina Stinnes and Gabby Allen - are thought to have been on hand to help them celebrate their big day. And although there have been no photos of the big day popping up on social media yet, Geordie Shore's Sophie Kassei shared a preview of the grounds on her Instagram stories. "I don't know if we're allowed our phones," the 28-year-old whispered as she gave a brief glimpse around the garden. There were cherry blossom trees throughout the garden, with what appeared to be the setup for an outdoor ceremony. The Daily Mail report that the couple said 'I do' at the stunning Gosfield Hall in Essex, surrounded by family and friends. The newlyweds met on the 2016 series of Love Island, eventually finishing in second place behind Cara de la Hoyde and Nathan Massey. They moved in together soon after their stint on the summer reality series, before Alex eventually popped the question in New York in December that year. While they kept most of the details of their big day under wraps, Olivia gave fans a preview of her dress during an appearance on Say Yes To The Dress.  Or, well, the one that was meant to be her dress. The Love Island contestant confessed last summer that she was back wedding dress shopping after her fiancé accidentally saw her episode of Say Yes to the Dress - and the gown she picked. She wrote in her new! Magazine column:

"I’ve also been wedding dress shopping again because Alex ended up accidentally seeing my Say 
Yes To The Dress episode. "I’ve been on the hunt and 
it’s been very fun. Some of the dresses are pretty pricey though, so I need to stay sensible!"
