Hour-long Christmas special about Westlife’s reunion is coming to RTÉ

Make use of the final tins of Roses, as December 29, a one-hour Westlife special will air on TV. The special will look at the highly anticipated reunion and summer concerts with Nicky, Shane, Mark and Kian playing right in your sitting room. The special will be a great way to relive the incredible concerts for people who made it to the gigs during the summer. The boys filmed their show while playing in Croke Park. Filming their biggest show, the foursome had 160,000 watching them within the two sold-out Dublin gigs. What a way to return to the scene after six year split. The special is also going to be a great way to get hyped up for anyone who was lucky enough to nab tickets to see the boys play Pairc Ui Chaoimh in Cork next August. Making the announcement in September, Westlife said:

"We’re over the moon to announce we’re going to be playing Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork for the first time ever next year!"

And again, selling out in a matter of minutes, all 45,000 tickets for the stadium were purchased by excited fans for both the 28 and 29 of August, 2020. Just goes to show the love for Westlife and their catchy tunes like Uptown Girl and When You're Looking Like That are here to stay. Long life Westlife, we say. Watch all on RTÉ, Sunday, December 29.
