Hollywood’s most notorious bachelor has put a ring on it – George Clooney is apparently engaged to British girlfriend Amal Alamuddin.
The actor popped the question to lawyer Amal after just seven months of dating, according to People magazine.
A source close to the couple confirmed the news saying:
“George and Amal are trying to keep things very low-key but they also aren’t really trying to hide this, it doesn’t seem. I think it’s like they want the people they love to know that this is real, that they plan on being together forever.”
Suspicions that the 52 year old had proposed started circulating after Amal was spotted flashing a “massive” ring on her left finger during a dinner date with Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber on Thursday.
The eternal bachelor had vowed to never repeat his marital vows after his divorce from Talia Blasam, but it seems Alamuddin has given him a change of heart.
