We’re not going to lie, we were a little surprised when we heard Jim Carrey was dating an Irish makeup artist half his age.
And we’re not going to lie about the fact that we’re not all that surprised that the romance is said to have run its course.
The funny man has admitted that the romance is over.
But we do feel sorry for the Dumb & Dumber actor and Cathriona White from Tipperary who have apparently called time on their relationship.
According to the Irish Independent Carrey said: “I did go out with an Irish girl. We’re not seeing each other anymore. But she is lovely.” (Such a gent!)
Carrey was with Jenny McCarthy for five years.
The couple had only been together for a couple of months having met in the US last year. Carrey hasn’t had a serious relationship since splitting from Jenny McCarthy back in 2010.
