Hollyoaks’ Luke Jerdy and Daisy Wood-Davis are engaged, and the ring is SUPER unusual

Ah, we love a love story so we do! That's why we're delighted to hear of a fabulous celebrity engagement. Hollyoaks' Luke Jerdy and Daisy Wood-Davis are officially set to tie the knot.

Luke took to Instagram to reveal he popped the question to his former co-star during their holiday in Greece. Romance.

He posted an adorable snap of himself and his bride-to-be, and captioned it:

"She said yes @daisy_wood_davis is going to be my wife. I'll take that."

Loads of people took to the comment section to wish the happy couple well. One follower wrote: "MASSIVE congrats mate, nailed the engagement ring!" "About Jaffing time!!!! The boy done so good on da ring too!" said another. Lucy also took to social media to share the news that she was getting married. She wrote: "On Thursday evening @lukejerdy asked me to marry him by the beach in front of my family." "I've never felt a happiness like this. It's so surreal but nothing has ever felt more natural. I can't wait to marry my best friend and celebrate how lucky we are to have found what we have." The excited actress went on to talk about the ring, writing:

"Not to mention, he designed me the engagement ring of my DREAMS."

"I have spent the last few days staring lovingly at him and the ring in equal measure (maybe more the ring) Let the celebrations commence!"

So yeah, let's talk about that ring for a moment please. It's a gold, antique style ring, with three different coloured stones. There's the main (big) diamond, and then a green stone and a grey stone. Quite unusual. But also, quite stunning. Congrats to the happy couple!
