Claire Cooper finally confirmed that she and her former co-star Emmett J. Scanlan are officially an item at Saturday's Soap awards.
The couple met on set of the Hollyoaks series with Cooper as Jacqui McQueen and Scanlan playing Brendan Brady.
The pair have been quiet about their relationship, but when Cooper took the award for Best Actress, she kissed Emmet and thanked him in her speech.
“I’d like to thank my wonderful friends and family and my boyfriend," the actress commented.
Emmett has now moved on from Hollyoaks, quitting the show last year. He has since moved on to play Glen Martin in BBC's The Fall.
