Holly Willoughby attended the event without Phillip Schofield.
Holly Willoughby put on a brave face at last night’s National Television Awards after her show This Morning was booed.
The presenter and the This Morning team attended the event last night following months of controversy. The show has been at the centre of scandal following the Phillip Schofield scandal.
The show lost a lot of supporters when it was revealed that Schofield had been cheating on his wife with a male co-worker. Holly Willoughby claimed she knew nothing about Schofield’s affair but many viewers failed to believe her due to their close friendship.

Holly and Phillip were regular attendees at the National Television Awards, but Schofield was not in attendance last night after ITV cut ties with the presenter.
Despite the backlash and controversy, This Morning was still nominated for ‘Best Daytime Show’. When the nominees were called out, the audience started to boo and shout when the presenters mentioned This Morning.

Holly Willoughby put on a gracious act and smiled through the awkward moment.
She was joined by fellow presenters Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary.
BBC’s The Repair Shop beat This Morning and was crowned the winner.
Holly shared multiple photos from the awards and said it was a “great night”.
