The fame, the constant shrieking teen girls and the incessant Twitter-bashing is finally getting to them.
One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has reportedly built a panic room at his house to protect him from crazed stalkers.
The 21-year-old has apparently installed the £15,000 (€17,349) safety measure after getting concerned about death threats from fans to girlfriend Eleanor Calder, 20.
Louis, who is currently on tour with the rest of the band, had the room specially built at his £2.5million house in Hertfordshire, but he’s not the first.
Zayn Malik also has one at his £2million north London home.
Louis is reportedly worried about his girlfriend’s safety.
A source told The Sun: “Louis loves the fans and isn’t overwhelmed with paranoia. He’s just a realist about the dangers of being in the spotlight.
“One Direction followers are notorious for tracking the lads down, so that’s made him a bit cautious.”
The source added that he’s also worried about being targeted by thieves and kidnapping gangs after last year’s foiled plot against Justin Bieber.
“This is just something that makes him feel safe,” they said.
